UNSIGNED 7.5x55mm SWISS SINGLE-SHOT MARTINI-ACTION TARGET RIFLE, serial no. 48, circa 1910, 32in. heavy 'Spezial-stahl' octagonal to round nitro reproved barrel, dove-tailed block-mounted blade fore-sight, adjustable notch rear sight marked '300' and '500', martini-style falling block action with ornately scrolled triggerguard underlever, adjustable double-set triggers, plain receiver retaining traces of colour-hardening and finish, 11 3/4in. Tyrolean style stock including adjustable buttplate, cheekpiece, bolstered fore-end with carved finial, sling, weight 12lb.
